Merchant License Extension and 2021 Update!

Hey everyone!
Hope you are all doing well! It has been awhile since I have posted here and just wanted to drop you a line and say hello. Also, I've got some cool Final Fantasy IX sketch art to share with my update!
For the past few months, I've been in the process of relocating back to my home state of Pennsylvania, getting some of my equipment set up, and I haven't had access to my PC to sculpt. So I have been sketching a lot lately. Please follow me on @Archangeldesign3d at Instagram to see some of those if you like my 2D stuff! All this hasn't slowed me from planning some really cool 3D printed things to work on this year when I am fully back up and capable of printing again! Which is why I have come here seeking your council!
General Ideas for 2021:
I will be working on some character and creature models for the first time this year! And possibly a very large scale terrain project I have been wanting to design and print for the better part of 2 years. This will include some of the stretch goals I didn't get to in Skyharbor and Forsaken Lands. Everything I sculpt is always based around the games I play or have nostalgia for, so Gothic Victorian and Fantasy Horror are my favorites; I expect a lot of what I choose to make will also fit with my LOTR SBG/ D&D interests akin to Forsaken Lands and Skyharbor and those Western themes. I'd like to improve the designs, and have textured floors with a separated 1" drop down tile grid based on all the excellent critiques and recommendations from backers' of both Forsaken Lands and Skyharbor. My goal is to improve quality, detail and playability with every new sculpt and terrain piece I make and continue to learn better practices and optimization from each set of models I have done.
Test Printers, Painters and Photographers:
I am just starting out in resin printing and I don't know enough about it yet. I was wondering if anyone would like to help me learn how to create supports and better printing practices for 28 mm minis and creatures down the road. If anyone would like to test print, paint and professionally photograph a few STL models for some of these new art adventures I want to try, please let me know in the comments! This may not be until late in the year, depending on how things work out for me, but that's all part of the fun. Thank you all for your support and interest! :)
Sincerely,
Michael

Hi everyone,
Hope you are doing well and staying safe out there. With a backer question this evening, I have discovered that the fourth part of the Frost Tower is slightly larger than the other three. Please scale Part 4 piece down to 94.5 percent in your slicer in the meantime. Re-issued files will be sent soon. Thank you all and sorry for the error.

Update 26 - Stretch Goal Delivery Completed! Forsaken Lands Campaign Wrap Up!
– Mon, Feb 17, 2020 at 08:28:51 PM
Hello Backers!
Stretch goal delivery has been completed! Check your inboxes today for yourdirect download links!
With the finishing touches added to the Chaos Keep, all stretch goals have been officially delivered and the campaign is officially wrapping up! Thank you all so much for making this a possibility and supporting all of these unique terrain pieces.
It has been so much fun experimenting and learning new techniques over the past several months. Your support, and feedback to create these stretch goals has been awesome. I really pushed myself creatively to get some unique pieces, and I hope that level of care, attention to detail and passion shines through on each print.
I know some ideas didn't make the final three for the selection process, but that is not to say I will never get to make them down the road! I really tried to incorporate elevation and some of the other ideas where I could, but it was challenging to meet everything on my list. It is my hope you get many years of fun and use out of every model in this campaign set! I will be taking some time to consider new ideas moving forward, and deciding what to do next artistically.
So what's next following the Forsaken Lands campaign?
The Preorder Exclusive on Backerkit will be ending soon. The exclusive Holy Knight offer of the campaign will close out, so if you missed the entire set and still want to get all of the original models and all three stretch goals at the campaign price, you'll still have some time yet!
I will still be offering support and answering questions or comments regarding printing and the models. So if you have any as you continue printing, please get in touch with me on Facebook, through Kickstarter or at my Archangel[email protected] email, and I will be able to offer assistance!
The Backerkit Page will remain live and allow for all three stretch goals to be added for all pledges under the Holy Knight Level. In addition, all three stretch goals will be available at ArchangelDesign3D.com under our digital product page.
None of this would have been possible without each and every one you, and I am incredibly grateful for all of your support from the start to finish of this campaign! Thank you, Backers! :) You have made this campaign an outstanding success! Continue to vanquish the darkness in the Forsaken Lands, and I will see you further along up the road!
Hoping to share more exciting things with you all in the coming months as I begin a new journey of my own, maybe even into some new lands.
Sincerely,
Michael
Update 25 - Chaos Keep Progress Report 4
– Sat, Feb 15, 2020 at 06:43:19 PM
Hello Backers!
The final structure design has been completed, and test printing is underway! I have called it the Chaos Keep and view it as a place where an ancient demon, or demons are imprisoned beneath the earth.
I had a lot of different inspirations for this one, and while it is simpler in design outwardly, it was quite challenging to give it that crumbling stone look and to finish out that dome roof with the accents.
I have had a few iterations of this one, but I really like the new roof style and building style for this one because it is different from all the other terrain in the set.
I was also able to get the main entrance to line up perfect with the bases arches, so it fits on there without any problems.
Everything in our previous updates is included in this final stretch goal set. You will get the platform, the tower and the scatter set within a few days! As with the Cursed Tower, it is a massive build, so I am also including the main base of the structure split in half in the middle right about the arch. This should help with long print times without losing scale.
Thank you all for your support and patience!
I am hoping you all enjoy this final design and can create many adventures with this set of Forsaken Lands terrain. They all have been uniquely challenging and exciting, and I have learned so much more about making 3D models with your support and words of encouragement throughout!
I will be sending an update as soon as test prints are completed and deliveries are ready for download! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Michael
Update 24 - Stretch Goal 3 - Progress Report 2 (Structure Redesign Upcoming)
– Tue, Feb 11, 2020 at 08:55:25 PM
Hello Backers!
Time for our next progress update on our final stretch goal set. This one is going to have a similar set up to the Cursed Tower by including a structure with its own elevated terrain platform. The test printing has finally been completed on the platform terrain piece!
I will be continuing work on the structure that sits atop this piece in the coming week or two. The current design for the structure I created did not meet my standards, and will be changed in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately, I was very unhappy with its final design, and have decided to begin again from scratch with a new structure I have sketched up. I really want this final one to stand out and be a nice centerpiece similar to the Cursed Tower.
The platform for it above, however, will remain unchanged and the new design will be built into the same footprint and size specifications as the other structure. It is my hope that it works out in a way that will not cause any extended delays as I am still planning the redesigned portion.
Thank you all for your support and patience! I am super excited to deliver this final piece!
