Update 2 - Concept Art and Backer Ideas!
over 1 year ago – Thu, Dec 05, 2019 at 02:52:26 PM

Hello Backers!

Thank you all for your overwhelming support and for making the first week of the campaign such an outstanding success! Your support keeps me going and working hard!  As we near the potential unlocking of the backers' roulette stretch goal, I thought today might be a good day to share some of my  concept art, and also open up the book for suggestions and new backer ideas! I read every comment and check my messages daily, but want to use this update to allow backers to discuss ideas with one another.

Fortress of the Snow Hag concept art.

Instead of just one single model per stretch goal unlocking in the backers' roulette, my hope is to stick with the pledge level designs from the core set with backers directing the creation process! Each stretch goal can be either a multi-piece scatter set that fits a specific theme, or environment. They can also be a modular set like the Tormented Village,  or a large scale structure similar to The Cursed Tower. Also, expansions to any existing sets is something we can do as well! In addition, I also have some ideas in the sketchbook I can toss into the mix, so these artist ponderings are also going to be available for everyone to draw inspiration from!

In the meantime, through your comments and discussions,  I will start work on designing concept sketches and brainstorming how to make those ideas become a reality.  Please message me directly or get at me in the comments if you have any questions. Thank you all so much; I look forward to seeing what you have in mind! Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Michael

Update 4 - Backer Surveys and More
over 1 year ago – Sun, Dec 01, 2019 at 02:06:46 PM

Hello Backers!

Hope everyone had a great week! I just wanted to provide a quick update today on backer surveys and also some stretch goal information as we are now half way through the campaign! After the campaign ends, the Backerkit service will go live. This will allow all Ranger's Pass pledges to select individual models along with some additional options for the Underground Explorer pledges!

Every backer will receive a survey through Backerkit directly through their email address provided, allowing for a direct digital download of the files. If anyone has any questions on Backerkit, I will be available to help you out and can even walk you through the survey process, so please message me at any time either through Kickstarter or directly in an email!

As we have already unlocked the Backers' Roulette stretch goal set, I may also use Kickstarter's own survey system to send a list of questions to create an open comment section so that everyone can share their ideas for the customized unlockables!  My hope is to have an open polling system where everyone will then have the chance to cast their vote for new pieces on a single page. As survey responses come in, I will continue to update the page and the campaign with new information.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and share any ideas you have in the comments sections, or through a direct message! Thank you all for your support; have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Michael

Your support means the world to me, and keeps me working hard, learning and improving my skills as an artist! None of which would be possible without you!
